Tesla Model Y Juniper vs. Standard: Which Floor Mats Fit Your Car?

Buying floor mats for a refreshed Model Y is where most owners get tripped up: the 2025 Juniper refresh and the 2026 Model Y Standard look alike, but their floor pans are different. A Juniper set will not sit flat in a Standard, and vice versa. Here is how to get it right the first time.

1. Check your trim name

Your Tesla order agreement and the Tesla app list your exact trim. If it says Long Range or Performance on a 2025 or newer Model Y, you have the Juniper refresh. If it says Standard (2026 model year), you need the Standard set.

2. Check the model year

Juniper: 2025 and newer (Long Range / Performance). Standard: 2026 and newer, base trim. Pre-refresh cars (2020–2024) use a different pan again — neither of these sets fits them.

3. Still not sure? Ask before you order

Send us your model year and trim and we will confirm. It takes two minutes and saves a return.

Driving a Model 3 instead? The same rule applies: 2024+ Highland cars need Highland mats; 2017–2023 cars use the older pan. See our Model 3 Highland 6-piece and 8-piece sets.
